For people awake at 3am

You work while the sun is up. Sunbreak keeps track of it for you.

A companion for night shifts and flipped schedules. It counts the daylight you're missing, tells you when to seek light and when to hide from it, and finds the narrow hours where your day overlaps everyone else's.

No account, no signup wall. Everything is computed and stored on your phone.

One dial, four things at once: the real sun where you are, your shift, your sleep, and the windows that decide how well you'll sleep at 8am.

Three things it does
Sun debt

A running balance of the daylight you owe yourself, against 45 minutes a day. Log time outside in two taps and watch the number come down.

Logged 15 minutes. Sun debt down to 3h 57m.

When to seek light, when to hide

Timed against your own shift and your body’s low point — not a generic morning-routine template. Every row says why, so you can argue with it.

The slivers

The narrow hours where your awake time overlaps your family’s, or the hours when clinics, banks and government offices are actually open.

Both awake 6:40–8:00pm. Best call: 7:00pm.

What it isn't
Not a sleep tracker. It never asks for a wearable and never guesses your sleep stages.
Not a habit app. No streaks, no confetti, no notifications guilting you at 4am.
Never a dose. It will not suggest melatonin or any medication, at any amount.
Not a social feed. Nothing you enter is shared, ranked, or compared to anyone.

Nine days without direct sunlight is a number worth knowing.

Open it once, answer four questions, and it works offline from then on. An account is optional — it only exists to move your ledger to a second device.
